Dylann Loverro assists lobbying efforts at both the federal and state level, splitting her time between Washington DC and Oregon. As a Legislative Assistant, she tracks legislation, generates policy recommendations, and facilitates strategic planning to improve client outcomes. She monitors legislation and hearings in Washington DC and Salem, drafts materials, conducts research, and builds relationships on Capitol Hill and at the Oregon State Capitol.

She most recently worked as a Staff Assistant for President Pro Tempore and Chair of Appropriations, Senator Patty Murray. While completing her master’s of comparative political science degree at American University, she interned for Senators Sherrod Brown and Jeff Merkley, and her local Congresswoman, Dr. Kim Schrier. During her time in Congress Dylann worked in legislative, communications, and administrative roles. She gained a wealth of insight into the policy making process, particularly in the areas of education, labor, and foreign relations.

While pursuing her undergraduate degree at Southern Oregon University, former Oregon Governor Kate Brown appointed Dylann to the University Board of Trustees. Dylann also served on the Associated Students of Southern Oregon University for three years where she led efforts to establish a new position within the body to ensure representation for students with disabilities. Upon her graduation from SOU, she received the Guanajuato Award, which is awarded to the outstanding graduate of the year.  For many years, she has been an advocate for common sense gun violence prevention policies. Having volunteered with March for Our Lives, Change the Ref, and Newtown Action Alliance, Dylann worked to help establish the Office of Gun Violence Prevention within the Biden White House in 2023.

In her free time, Dylann enjoys playing guitar, watching hockey, reading, traveling with family and friends, going to record stores, watching films, and camping.
