Meet Kat
Prior to joining Summit Strategies, Kat worked on Tina Kotek’s campaign for Oregon governor. During her time with the campaign, Kat was on the finance team in one of the closest and most expensive gubernatorial races in Oregon history. Before working on Kotek’s team, Kat graduated from the University of Oregon with a BS in in Political Science and minors in Legal Studies and Global Health.
While in college, Kat completed two legislative and electoral fellowships with Planned Parenthood Advocates of Oregon, interned for U.S. Senator Wyden’s district office, worked as a COVID-19 case manager and contact tracer, and led the campus advocacy group Students for Choice. She spent her college years as a passionate political advocate and dedicated student.
As a native Oregonian, Kat loves to spend her free time running in Forest Park and getting into the outdoors with her friends and family.
